I’m sharing my updated Passover Guide for 2025 with Jews Eat Veggies readers, complete with unexpected, practical, and delicious quinoa recipes for a Passover filled with healthy energy and satisfying meals.

Suggesting quinoa for Passover recipes may evoke memories of a bowl of bland, tan kernels. You will find none of that here. Here are five fantastic ways to incorporate quinoa into your Passover meal planning, all of which are featured in the guide.

5 Ways to Use my Quinoa Recipes for Passover

  • Bread! Imagine enjoying a slice of cinnamon raisin toast on a Passover morning! You can do this! Top it with homemade cashew vegan cream cheese (or the real thing if you must) and sliced strawberries. You can also lather on almond butter and top your Quinoa Bread for Passover with sliced bananas. They’re the size of chametz sandwich thins/buns.
  • Pizza Crust! You can make a thin (9 x 12 pan) or thick crust (9 x 9 pan). Top it with cheese, sauce, and roasted veggies. You’ll find the easiest recipe ever for a vegan cheese spread in the Jews Eat Veggies Passover Guide. My husband’s cousin in Israel introduced me to this magical almond flour cheese, and it powered me through our travels. What other cheese can you carry with you in the August heat? Sounds perfect for Chol HaMoed day trips!
  • Flat breads! Do you love a good flatbread with herbs and roasted veggies? Add sundried tomatoes, olives, or whatever you want – before or after you cook your flatbreads.
  • Wraps! Add more water and spread the batter out in a larger pan (see the complete recipe in the JEV Passover Guide 2025), and you will have made kosher for Passover wraps! Spread on the magic cheese, roasted broccoli, and some pepper spears for a hearty, healthy Chol Hamoed lunch on the run. Alternatively, you can prepare the wraps for that dreaded day before Passover begins in the evening, when you can’t eat chametz but can’t yet eat matzah or matzah meal.
  • Orange Pistachio Quinoa! This is the hearty quinoa salad of your dreams, not some pale imitation of rice. I make this recipe every Pesach, but usually with white quinoa. Last year, I finally found Kosher for Passover RED Quinoa. My family was like, “What is this amazing quinoa dish?” “Um… the one I make every year…” The impact of the RED Quinoa cannot be overstated. The recipe is included in the 2025 Jews Eat Veggies Passover Guide.

Months after I sent out last year’s Pesach Guide, people were coming up to me at events and telling me they were still using these Quinoa Recipes for Passover – not just for Passover, but for the rest of the year. They also loved the magic almond flour cheese.

If you find the guide and the quinoa for Passover recipes (and the many others!) helpful, please share a photo or comment and tag it with #JewsEatVeggies.

I’ve been so busy with my day job (running the Brett & Alana Fine Cafe), I haven’t blogged since last year’s guide. However, the enthusiastic response I’ve received to this guide every year has encouraged me to update and share it, once again, with the JEV community. BH, you won’t have to wait so long to hear from me after this post.

Remember, when in doubt, opt for real, whole foods during Passover and throughout the year.
